Through three schools in different urban communities, we give street children access to education and safety they deserve. Our longest-running school has operated for over 20 years in an ultra-poor fishing village, teaching hundreds of children essential reading, writing, and math skills. A second school serves children who were previously collecting garbage to support their families, while our third location emerged from community partnerships in a slum area.

Each school aims to transition students into regular government education while building meaningful relationships with staff. Students have opportunities for personal growth and character development alongside their academic studies. Students contribute a small fee toward teacher salaries, while Love and Light covers facility costs and infrastructure needs. These safe learning environments remove children from dangerous street conditions and provide the foundation for their future success.
